The ONVIF Challenge gave developers the opportunity to use ONVIF to think outside the box. From applications that provide open-source viewing of ONVIF cameras, to applications that focus on face detection, developers invented novel approaches for extending the possibilities of how ONVIF is used.
Check out the video below to learn more about CAM X, created by Canada-based developer Liqiao Ying. He created an app for an Artificial Intelligence-based object detection system that utilizes blockchain solutions for storing information obtained from ONVIF cameras. With just a mobile device, users can detect 20 objects in real time and up to 80 object types from ONVIF cameras.
